i cant find my other thread about this. would one of these be able to run on a 400watt psu? specs in sig. also would this card be able to play most games on high settings? here are the specs

GPU Clockspeed: 550 MHz
Memory: 512MB 1,2ns DDR3
Memory Clockspeed: 1400 MHz
Pixels per clock (peak) : 24
Bandwidth: 51,2 GB/s
Ramdac: 400 MHz
Bus: PCI-Express
Cooling: Fan (One-Slot)
 
I think 400W is the minimum. I have a XFX 7900GT 256MB, and I'm using a 500W power supply and I clocked it to 620/1860. I can play most games on high, except the really recent games like, Supreme commander, but I think my GRAM is restricting it as well.

It depends on how many amps on the 12v rail there are. 400 watts would be a bare minium and if there aren't many amps then I would get a new one or you will run the risk of overloading and frying your powersupply and when it frys it may take some of your other comonetns on your computer with it.
 
i have asked on another forum and they said

The stock power supply is fine. From what I have read the 410 power supply can runn the 8800gts without a problem.

As of yesterday Dell began offering the 8800 GTX as an option for the XPS 410, the power supply will have no problem handling any video card currently on the market

FALSE.

The XPS 410 has a 375W power supply, and the minimum requirement for a 8800 GTS is a 400W power supply. Taken directly from the nVidia website specs.

thats what i thaught. i have heard that dell underrates its psu though
