gainward geforce 7800gtx U3500 pcx problems..

Hi !

I newly bought a new pc and everything works out fine except from my graphic card. I have a gainward geforce 7800gtx U3500 pcx (http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.asp?sku=310687&cks=PRL)

I get this message that it dont get enough power. I have a 430 w pcu and in the catalogue it says that it needs 350w.

I do think I need an extra contact from the power supply to the graphic card??!!! I dont know what kind of contact this is, were should be plased on the graphic card, and how it looks like. Can anyone help me, cause i have invested a lot of money in this :o

yah u should see something like this

and stick that into a socket on your card's far right side...

I have only connected the card to the pci ex slot. Do i have to do anything else then?

you should have such a cable

that came with your card.
at the end of the card (not the metal plate, but the other side, should be a black 6 pin connector.
you have to put the cable on that connctor. and connect the other end of the cable to the cable of you power supply.

Thats what i thought. I did found that 6 pin @ my card ,and they say the same in the catalogoue. but the cable thit not come whit my card :confused: I searched through all of my boxes, but its not there :eek:

I searched thtough my stuff one more time, and finally i found the cable.
I have now connected the cable from the graphic card to two cables from the power supply. I dont get the message about having too little power anymore, but when i run far cry everything is ****ed up.
the picture is sharp and light, and some things are dark as hell :o
What should I do to fix this?? whats the problem then??

Have installed an earlier version before with the cd that was with my graphic card, and the same problem appears :o
