this card has won awards up to the eyes...is it that good and would it be a success with the following:

Athlon XP 2500+

i like the leadtek 5900XT better than gainward. but thats just cuz a few of my freinds sampled/reviewed it and got very good results with it. very nice...

I like leadtek a lot as well but c'mon, you can't knock a gainward. they are NICE.

You can make Doom3 look good on a TNT2 -- its just how FAST it will be playing at

If you're buyign a new card, consider the 6600(GT)

does it cost much more then the 5900xt? i have a budget of around £100-150
