Galaxy s4 widi??

I looked this up, but couldn't get a straight answer, Is the Galaxy s4's screen mirroring compatible with intels WIDI or is the miracast something different? I was going to buy an hdmi adapter for my s4 active, but noticed that even samsungs wireless adapter is only like $35... I was wanting to know because the WIDI adapters are even cheaper, But I couldn't find a good answer on whether it should work or not.

I would buy the Samsung as this would give you the best compatibility, I believe the Intel are only compatible with Intel based notebooks but could be wrong as I do not use the service.

I just ended up buying the hdmi adapter. I thought about it, and the only time I really use this is in hotels, and some people said the wireless adapter required the TV to have mhl, and it sounds like it wouldn't be a good bet for locked down hotel TVs... (the universal remote on the s4 is great for getting around the blocks on the inputs though)
