hey guys I have an extra Game Boy Color lying around and I was wondering if there was anything I can do with it. Like the monitor or anything? It still works but I have nothing to do with it and selling it probably wouldn't get me much seeing how it's scrachted.

u get to learn what happens to a gameboy color when its on in hte microwave for 2mins on high

you can practice modding on it..or google game boy color mods or somthing. or somehow mod the gameboy into your computer. thats sounds kool
 
Or you could do what I did with my GameBoy Color and take a hammer and start smashing it. I'm not kidding, I really did that.
 
why, thats pointless and it annoys the hell out of me those people who do that, both the PSP one and the XBOX360 one.

anyway, tak it apart and slavaged bits, like the screen, get some part numbers, perhaps you could mount the screen no the front of your PC and have it read temps etc....

you mean the xbox360 one where the smahes it, put it on the website, got over 600$ in donateion's, plus money for all the ad's shown on there newly born site that prabally got thousands of hits for the first month when it spread like fire and i got like 4 IM's cheap day? Why they do it? for Cash, and it works wonders.

i still like the microwave idea

btw: if you do that, please take some pics and post them, it would be very cool, and you could learn what happens when a gameboy is in the microwave :P

thanks for the videos, but keeping on topic, i dont think it is possible to use the screen to display temp ext..., but you never know, it would be very cool.

oh and another idea, you could take the batteries out and use them :D
