Hey all, I have a couple games on my pc and they work fine using the keyboard. I bought a Philips game controller today that looks about like a PS2 controller. It plugs in to the usb port on the computer. Well no matter what I do it won't work with either of my games. It lights up when it's plugged in so it's getting power. I even whent to the self test for the controller and it works fine but not while the game is running. I have never played games on the computer before so is there something like a special software I need to make this thing work? I already installed the software that came with the controller. Anybody know what the problem is? thanks

The drivers won't be game specific, they'll be OS and product specific, which model of controller is it?

Correct. You need to get the drivers for the controller itself. And than once you are in game you must map the controls.
ok yea your right, I had to lable the buttons on the controller with the correct keys that are used on the keyboard. I did get that figured out but I still can't get the two left and right analog thumb controllers to work. Not sure why.

Find the look settings, probably under mouse settings. Click on whichever direction, and then move the analog stick in that direction, you probably already tried it, just want to make sure.
