My DVD of Sims2 is pretty roughed up..(Yeah, I know..Sims.)

anyhow, the youngins' like to play it and it keeps messing up! Is there a way for me to just install the entire thing onto my hard drive to avoid using the disk??

I did pay for it, and have the serial number..etc. Is this doable to bypass using the physical media? or is this not allowed?

Thanx.

Most video game store offer pretty cheap disc repair. As long as it doesn't have any really deep scratches or scratches in the top they can buff it out. A place near me does it for just $2.

Okay, so probably the easiest bet eh?

they dont look deep just circles from being spun around inside a jewel case that was not for the game...and made the marks around the disc..about 1/4 inch in from the edge..

Yeah like mentioned,Try having the disks repaired.

Im not sure if you have Gamestation stores in Canada? If so im pretty sure all of them ive been in have a Disk Doctor machine that buffs the disk and gets it looking like new again.

cost something like £2 per disk.

Not sure on game station outlets, but perhaps the local EA Games shop can do it..

Also, I know a CD/DVD used shop in my city that buffs discs, would that machine be the same one used to do a game DVD?
