Hi guys,

When I play my game (Enemy Territory) the game shocks every 3 seconds. Just for a fraction of a second. This is not only when I am in a server playing. When I just boot up the game and I am in the mainmenu there are clouds floating in the background. And after the same periods every time (each 3 seconds) those clouds stop moving for just a millisecond. Also when I move my mouse in circles, every 3 seconds it stops for about a millisecond. Like it is sending date to my computer and then moves on or smth.

I hope you guys can help me! My specs are:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Dual Core
MotherBoard: not specified
HD: Western 250 GB
Monitor: Acer AL1916W
Keyboard: Acer Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech mx518
Mousepad: Qpad CT
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio
Graphics: Nvidea Geforce 8300GS
Memory: Kingston 2048 MB

shocky might not be the best term, the subject line is a little confusing... i think you might have a lot of people skiping over this thread. jittery, laggy, jerky even... would all be a better choice of wording.

anyway, i don't know anything about this game but i'll try and help. it sounds like something is running in the background. first thing though, you should update this game and make sure you have the latest version. if that doesn't do anything... start looking into background tasks. is there anything running in the background while you're running this game (non-windows services)? AV software, anything? it's also possible you have some sort of virus running in the background that's killing your performance, do a thorough scan if you haven't already. it shouldn't be a performance issue, if you're talking about Wolfenstein ET that's an old game and you exceed all those requirements by a lot.
