game wont start up, gives me an error HELP!!!

hey guys, my stepdad is trying to load one of these damn deer hunter games on his computer, it is freshly reformatted and the only thing installed right now is this game. here is a screenshot of what it does when i go to start up and play the game, any ideas???

Ar ethe drivers for the gfx card? It looks like that's what's wrong. Direct X is the other thing to be sure is loaded.
 
thats the thing before i reformatted, some games worked. but ive got 2 new ones, and neither work, direct x 9 is installed so i dont see why it wouldnt work, ill try to update the video drivers i guess...
