Gameboy advance movie player

I recently aquired this little gagdet from www.liksang.com
It's pretty sweet. It uses a compact flash card for storage. It plays video and audio. Displays photos and text files and Supports the PocketNES emulator.
The video has to be converted. It comes with the software to convert it. It converts the resolution and frame rate to that which is compatible with the GBA. Audio can either be converted or it can play standard WAV files. Text files are text files. Text is clear and readable. Photos are standard BMP files and can be converted to a color optimized file but will work otherwise. The video conversion takes about as long as any other video conversion would take. If you're use to converting video into MPEG files for VideoCD's then this is no big deal.
The quality of the video depends on the source. I converted directly off of a DVD and it was terrific. I converted some downloaded files and the words didn't match the mouths. However you can manually sinc the video and audio if it doesn't match. Animation looks great on it. Audio is decent. It's not CD quality but it's enjoyable. Pocket NES emulation is near perfect. The only drawback here is the device only has a 256k ram buffer for the rom so your .GBA rom can't be bigger than that. This means your .NES Rom has to be smaller than that. However, I did find a special version of PocketNES that comes with a ROM compressor that will compress almost any ROM 257k or smaller. So no Super Mario 3 but Super Mario 2 is playable. Price: $25.
I use my DS with mine. I've taken some pictures. Keep in mind I found it difficult to photograph the DS screen so they came out much more blurry than they really are.
