Gamer, $700, go!

I have a friend in my Deutsch class who wants a new gaming computer... Budget around 700 US dollars, i dont think he needs a monitor or anything. Every time i try to configure one, it goes way overbudget. If someone could newegg me some parts, that would be great.

hey that looks like a great build, i think ill order one tomorrow as I need a new computer too! I already have a monitor, case, keyboard, mouse, speakers

coupla' questions though dude
I need your suggestions...
1- what if i want 2g of RAM instead?
2- I need a 3.5" bay with mad connectors on it (USB, firewire, etc)
3- I do LOTS of audio recording/production....any other suggestions?

Perhaps a 320gig hard drive, if you need more RAM just buy the same stuff, and a 3.5 bay off ebay will set you back all of $10.

ok well what is a great multi-function 3.5 bay connector? I need USBs, firewire, headphones, mic, etc....all in the front of my comp
(i dont want these to disable th eones in th eback either)

also, which firewire card should i buy?

I have a BFG 7800 GT OC in perfect working condition for sale. It'll save you some money if you're interested..
