Gamer OSD screwing with Vista.

It's a vendor specific overclocking utility and chat function. I helped a dude recently whose copy was posing a great deal of trouble on Vista, so yea. If it's giving you too much trouble to be able to uninstall, boot into safe mode by hitting f8 before boot, choose safe mode, and uninstall there.

Wait a sec.. you are that dude, lol.

Hey, I just found that thread, I thought someone deleted it. Thanks for the heads up.

Is there a reason why you should delete a program in safe mode? Cheers.

P.S. I wasn't doughting your anwser in the other thread, I honestly could not find it as I did not subscribe. Then I realized that I use do a user search on myself to find it.:o

I remember you said it was causing the CPU usage to sky-rocket, i wasn't sure if the system was too unresponsive to uninstall it. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that doesn't load up anything the operating system doesn't absolutely need, so OSD wouldn't cause a problem there.
