Games Crashing

I've have recently started having issues with my games crashing. I tried getting Steam support to help me, but to no avail. About every two days, for a time period of about half a day, most of my games just keep crashing. They freeze up and I either get the message ".... has stopped working" or I have to use my task manager to close it. I know it's not just a Steam issue, because non-steam games are crashing. I tried many things trying to fix this. It first started out when I installed Saints Row 4. When it first started, it was crashing all the time. I tried to get it working with Saints Row still installed, but it never stopped. When I uninstalled it, my computer worked fine for a few days, but then started so for a few hours ever day or two, most of my games crash. I've tried swapping video cards, ran multiple virus checks, and did a system restore, however that didn't go back very far. The games so far that seem to be affected are World of Tanks, War Thunder, Batman Arkham City, and Rome 2: Total War. I have had this computer for 4 months now, and it can play top of the line games.

Please help, I want to be able to play my games again without worry.

What are your temps when playing games? Try HWMonitor to check. You can just leave it running while you play a game and see what the maximum temp got up to.

What are your system specs?
What OS are you running?
What did you use to install/update the drivers?
What programs were used to scan for viruses?

Temps are in Celsius

The video card seems to be a bit too high...If so, how do I lower it?

I used GeForce experience and also manually checked the website for video drivers. I use Microsoft Security Essentials and a friend had me use Hitman for virus scans.

My guess would be an overheating video card. Make sure all the dust is blasted out of your system, particularly on/in the video card. Boot up your computer and make sure the fans on your video card are spinning. You might have to remove the cooler, reapply thermal paste, then reinstall the cooler.

This is just because there is some dust under gpu his fan, remove it and you're ready to go.

Also, these are the temps while gaming right?

These temperatures are from gaming. I played Rome 2 and World of Tanks to get these. Just sitting idle, the temp is 42.
