Games FPS Drop for 10-12 seconds HELP!

Hi I have a problem with my games, when I play the FPS is fine but then lag spikes occur randomly and sometimes every 5 minutes. This occurs mainly on GTA IV, NBA 2K14. In Team Fortress 2 and GTA SA, FPS drops sometimes for 10 seconds straight, then back to normal which is 60FPS.

My specs are the following:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 2.61GHz
Nvidia GeForce GT 220
4GB RAM

I've tried installing updated GeForce drivers from nvidia but it didn't work. I also cleaned up %temp% and closed unused processes. I need help please.
 
Low end specs there, thats the problem. Time for a new machine with better specs. Also can assume your hard drive is old as well?
 
I think not. Before the lag spikes it didn't have no problem. Just recently.
UPDATE: I ran malwarebytes and deleted malware, and I tested TF2, it doesn't do that anymore.
 
What did it remove? If malwarebytes removed items then you probably got more things that need to get removed. Follow the sticky in the security section to download and run adwcleaner and junk ware removal tool.
