games problem

i have toshiba satellite A355 core 2 duo t6400 processor
4 GB SDRAM
320 GB HDD
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500MHD

and when i play counterstrike i get lag ... any idea why is that
i get similar problem with Warcraft TFT

It's your graphics. Basically, you have integrated graphics, which means that the GPU's memory is shared with the system RAM.The X4500 is one of intel's offerings. Try www.gmabooster.com if you want to raise the core frequency of your (bad) integrated GPU. That said, the 4500 is way better than a 945/950

Sorry, forgot to add, CounterStrike and WoW are online games, it could also be a slow internet connection

i think about the internet connection but on my desktop computer it doesnt lag that why it cant be bec internet connection

So it's not your ethernet connection, Do you run your laptop in wi-fi?

OS shouldn't matter; the rest of your laptop specs are fine, I think it's the integrated GPU

yea sadly that is the best intel offers in a integrated card, but its only really suitable for HD video playback, anything else it will likely choke...its mostly meant for energy savings, not performance
