I'm sure this has been asked loads of times before on different forums, but I was never able to find an answer.

So as I said in the title, when I play different games, they slow down about every minute or so to around 2-5 fps but then it only lasts for around 20 seconds then it just speeds back up to what it would normally run at.

Also, I can play some games, like GMod and Euro Truck Simulator 2, but I can't play any games like Minecraft, Unturned, or anything that isn't on a certain game engine.

I've got a Toshiba Satellite L850-1LK
and the specs are:
  • Windows 8 64-bit (but I have windows 10 on it)
  • 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i3-2312M processor
  • 39.6cm (15.6”) , Toshiba TruBrite® HD TFT High Brightness display with 16 : 9 aspect ratio and LED backlighting
  • Hard disk 640 GB
  • White Pearl Finish with Crossline pattern, white keyboard
  • 8,192 (4,096 + 4,096) MB, DDR3 RAM (1,333 MHz)
  • Intel® HD Graphics 3000
  • maximum life : up to 4h00min (Mobile Mark™ 2012)
  • weight : starting at 2.3 kg
  • W x D x H : 380.0 x 242.0 x 33.52 mm
(I just copied the specs from the Toshiba website, but I changed anything that was necessary.)
