Hi, what i was wondering is if you guys could tell me some games that is fun to just play around with? What i mean with play around is like when you grapplehook a guard to a plane and watch them fly away togheter in Just Cause 2. (for example ;D)

Also if theres any games to make Gameplay vids out of that you guys would like to see.

supposedly gary's mod. I haven't played it, but I've heard plenty of good things about it.

Nah, i have it. But it's good if you just want to goof around with friends or make movies.

You should watch "War of the servers", it's a movie made entirely in Garry's Mod and Source SDK.

Lego Star Wars will always hold a place in my heart. Completely pointless and insane, but it's great to play. So many different things to do, lots of different challenges. I prefer the Lego Stars Wars: Complete Saga edition. There's also a LSW3 which includes the events of the Clone Wars captured by the Cartoon Network animated series but I'm not too pleased with it. I stick to the Complete Saga version.

So if you're a Star Wars fan-boy, give it a shot. Pretty decent price at $20 and countless hours of fun.

yes lego starwars is great, for that, also grand theft auto, any will but i Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (if you have ps2) this game was the best, but if your pc or xbox 360 or even ps3 wait for Saints Row: The Third

Spore is a pretty good game if you want something that will just allow you to putz around with creating an evolving creature.

Thanks

Thanks guys for giving so many great game ideas to me, keep em coming.

---Games you have told me about---
Garry's Mod - This is a great sandbox/Building game(that i already have) For those of you thinking of buying it, you need a source game(CSS, HL2, TF2... etc)

GTA Series - I have played all the GTA games except London, Chinatown and LC Stories. San Andreas has one of the biggest Multiplayer mods ever(SA-MP)

Spore - I bought this game the same day it came out. It's a great game where you can really show of your creature creation skills. You can share creatures and houses/vehicles with friends and you can use other peoples creatures etc.. on your own planets. For those of you who have never played it, you should definately try it out. It might look like a game for ages 3-12 but i'm 15 and i still love it as much as the day it came out.

Mafia 2 - Haven't played it that much, looks like a pretty fun game but is missing multiplayer(like so many other games nowadays). From what i have seen it's all pretty much the same and not so many things to do but.. What do i know?

Lego Star Wars - I have never really been a fan of any of the Lego games except Lego Racer and Lego Island but i haven't tried Lego Star Wars, maybe i should?

Saints Row 3 - Looks like a fun game from what i've seen this far but the only thing i have ever really liked about Saints Row is multiplayer. If i don't have anyone to play with i don't really feel like it.

---Other games i've played---
Just Cause 2 - NOW where talking. I could sit and play this game all day Multiplayer or no multiplayer(Tho it doesn't have multiplayer which i think they need to fix) There's something about destroying bases and taking them over, flying over an HUGE island with a big jet plane and hanging people from planes and watching them fly i just REALLY enjoy.

Fuel - Another outstanding racing game from Codemasters with an even more amazing Free Roam mode. This game was awarded "Biggest World in a Game" and it had reason to. The world in this game is so huge, it need's 6 printscreens of the ingame map with 1980x1080 resolution to get a full map of the world. There is just so much to do in such a "small" game. You can go exploring, find bodykits and paintjobs for cars in the huge game world, race or do tricks in all the ramps in the world.

Assassins Creed Series - Of course someone has to mention this series. This is a great game to just play around it whether your jumping down 200ft house or stabbing guards in the streets of Jerusalem. I especially love this series because it involves(is that the right word? :P) SO much Parkour and i do Parkour in real life.

Minecraft - This is a really great Sandbox/Building game just like Garry's Mod, except this game generates totally random maps and is kinda blocky.
I love playing minecraft with my friend and i have found a special place in my heart for TNT. For those of you that play Garry's Mod half seriously you should know what Wire is, well Minecraft has it's own kind of wire, Redstone. It works in the same way except all the extra stuff you need to hook it up to.. And it's not something you need to download.

Terraria - This is a relatively new game, I got it one week after it came out, would have got it sooner if i had the money :/. It's kind of the same system as Minecraft but i actually think it's more fun. Sure the "regular" houses and such you build does not look as good as in Minecraft but if you have enough resources, time and creativity you could build some amazing stuff. Aside from houses this game has ALOT of more enemies than your regular Zombie, Skeleton, Spider and... Creeper. It also contains alot of hidden treasures like weapons and armor and my main reason to play this game, A dungeon with a HUGE boss guarding it.

Battlefield Series - I bet your like "What?!?!?!!?" but let me tell you this. Apart from being one of the greatest(probably the greatest) war series in the world, it's got great potential for awesome randomness. You could gather up some friends and have a Team Dogfight or Tank Battle or just do some stunts with the planes, even(if your good enough) do some drifting with the different cars in the games.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood - This is a great game with an awesome storyline and some awesome bugs. This game is one of my favorites and there is not many games that can really hook me to the storyline like this game did. I sat for 5 hours straigt to finish this game, start to end. The multiplayer is awesome but a little buggy, make sure to update the game and your videocard drivers and do NOT have hamachi installed while playing this game if you want to be able to join a server. Also, this game has got the "Ladder-Goat" from youtube.. Oh Ladder-Goat, you so random.

Far Cry 2 - This game is awesome if you just want to explore and take over safehouses. If you choose to play with the storyline you can make the people in the game world go from "Attack on sight" to "Run like hell" when you come near them. The multiplayer is kinda fun but hard(my opinion) There should be some more maps, you can download more of course. The map editor is REALLY easy to learn and you can make some pretty nice maps if you try to.

Burnout: Paradise - This is a great racing game from EA Games. The free roam is awesome, the racing is awesome and with just the click of a button you can join a multiplayer server, easy as that. The world is not the biggest but it's still pretty fun to just drive around and maybe do some drifting and some barrel rolls.

So that's it for me(right now) but you guys just keep posting new games and let people(and me) know what crazy games to play when bored.
