How come I always get dissconected or experience a ton of lag from online games? I have a pretty fast computer with a cable modem and have no trouble on single player.

Are you downloading anything while you're playing online? or have any other things using your interne connection?

emule, edonkey, limewire and all kinds of P2P can take over all your bandwidth and leave you with 'lag' in multiplayer games.
