gaming build semi-final setup

Hi. I am building a high-end gaming system and this is what I've come up with. The only things I am concerned with are the PSU (wheter or not it can run SLI GTX's for the future) and the RAM. I want to get vista for DX10 and I know my system can support it. I am just wondering wheter or not to get 2GB, 3GB , or 4GB of RAM. I will be sticking to the 32-bit version of Home Premium as it is known to have less problems then the 64-bit. Any help you can offer will be apreciated.

Case: Antec 900 ATX
CPU: Q6600 (plan to oc it to 3GHz)
PSU: OCZ GameXtreme 700W (this can run SLI 8800GTX's rite?)
Mobo: ASUS P5N32-E SLI
Vid. Card: 8800 GTX
Memory: 2GB Corsair XMS2 800MHz
HD 1: Raptor 10000RPM 150GB
HD 2: Seagate 7200RPM 320GB
DVD: Two 20x DVDRW w/lightscribe
OS: Vista Home Premium 32-bit

Looks great. IMO, you do not need more than 2GB of RAM. The PSU will power 2 GTX's; however, I would suggest buying a modular power supply. Why? Managing cables inside the 900 can be difficult. With a modular PSU, you plug in only the cables that you need. Good luck with the build!

EDIT: Here's a good PSU: OCZ ModXStream 780W.

In order to run two GTX's, you'll need to use the molex/PCIe power adapters supplied with your GPU. If you're overclocking, you'll need to get a better heatsink/fan for the Q6600.

Stock should be ok with Intel CPUs, they don't generate that much heat. I find that I can over 15% easily with stock Intel CPU fan and heatsink assemblies.

SLi is useless. You barely see an performance gain.

10k RPM is useless too. All you'd feel is more heat, more noise, and more power comsumption.

Lightscribe is worthless too. Why spend extra? An Sharpie only costs like $2.

With 4GB, Vista 64-Bit is needed.

You're wrong. See the chart below. Power consumption is less, and my Raptors' are virtually silent in the 900. Performance? See chart below. If you owned one, you would see the difference. You're stating opinions, not facts.

Your comment about the Sharpie is obviously a poor attempt at sarcasm. There's nothing wrong with a Lightscribe enabled OD, and it's not really more expensive to have that functionality.

Are you saying that an opinion is inherently unfactual? If so, I disagree. Those seeking advice on this forum, I believe, would prefer a fact over a baseless opinion.

There is a debate, however, whether the performance of the Raptor justifies the added cost. I think it does. Others' disagree. I respect that. To simply say, "a Raptor is useless," and "all you would feel...is more power consumption," confuses the author of this thread, and is simply untrue.

The chart recognizes that the Raptor is louder. There, you are technically correct. In my experience, I haven't noticed a difference in sound between the Raptors' and the WD 7200 RPM in my Sony Vaio machine, for example.

With all due respect, oscaryu1, citing other members' "opinions" as a basis for your comments is a cop out.
