I am new at this, I want to make a computer at a decent price that can play sc2 and wow. Are the specs alright? These are based on Canadian price, canadacomputers.com.

1. Also should i get 1333mhz ram or 1600mhz ram?

2. Is the motherboard decent? I don't know much about it just getting this cause the price is cheap.

3. Is a CPU fan required?

4. Am I missing any parts?

I would suggest spend slightly more to get i5 2500K + Z68 mobo, which get you an opportuntiy for overclocking in future.
Or just simply go for i5 2400 to save few $$

RAM - I do think it would be better to spend extra $5 - 10 for DDR3 1600

CPU cooler - why do you need CPU cooler when you choose i5 2500 & H61 motherboard which not allow you to overclock??
If you go for i5 2500K & Z68, heatsink could probably go for CM 212/ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 for similar price

Case - I think Elite 370 would be better than 330. I do recommend add another 120mm.

1. Go with 1600mhz ram
2. Find yourself a motherboard with the Z68 chipset
3. With my i7 i found intels stock heatsink to be inadequate, so nice $20-$40 aftermarket heatsink would be nice.
4. Are you going to need any periphrial devices? (Keyboard, mouse, speakers, wireless network adapter, etc.)

If you must upgrade one item in your list make it the motherboard. Get yourself the z68 chipset and then you can worry about the ram or the video card in the future.

Thanks for the advise, I switched the motherboard to a Z and using 1600mhz ram now and I am not planning to overclock the cpu so I guess I can take out the fan. I switched the case to Cooler Master Elite 370.

I will also be buying mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

on that newegg sight all that stuff is cheaper i'm pretty sure, cuz i know the 2500 is like 200 on there, or 20 less than that says, also look at the samsung f3 1tb, not much more but faster and 2x the memory. also look at the g.skill sniper series 8gb 1600mhz ram, they also have a low voltage variation that i think is actually less, so i'd go for it.
