I am currently in the process of creating my first custom desktop with a price range of under $600.

As of right now, I'm still contemplating what parts I should buy.

Here is my current parts list:

This computer will be used primarily for gaming purposes.

I am currently looking for suggestions on better parts for this build.

Thank you.

Upgrade to 8gb of memory, get 2 x 4gb sticks. 4gb won't be enough for some most games.

$190 is rather expensive for what is effectively a 7870.

I would also avoid the Kingston as they have been placing extremely slow asynchronous NAND in those model of drives as of late.

That board is pretty low end with its VRM, and as stated above go for larger RAM quantity.

What kind of games do you play?
