Gaming Computer - Components

Hello!! I plan on building a new Gaming PC, I have picked out what components I plan on getting and I need your help
To justify whether or not these components are going to run well with one another, and will run almost ANY computer-intensive
game (Such as CRYSIS 3, Metro: Last Light, Battlefield 4, ARMA 3, etc.) on High-Ultra settings with an FPS that averages at around the 60
FPS benchmark. Also, take into consideration to ensure that each component will fit with one another on the MOBO and will not bottleneck.
Thank you SOO much for your time, and I hope you will help me with this build that I plan to be tremendous!!! :)

PS: Considering that I plan on getting a GeForce GTX 970, is Gigabyte a well option for this particular GPU?

It's fine to post links in your actual post, it's a lot easier to read and open links. Or just list the part as we know hardware well enough to tell you if stuff is compatible.

In the future, please just post a pcpartpicker list or the components. Yes, gigabyte is a good company.
Your build seems fine, but the cpu *might* bottleneck the gpu just a bit, a sweet rig, but you could get a cheaper case and put the money into the motherboard and CPU. Also, are you planning to game at 1080p?

this is ideally what you want, i swapped the RAM, the mobo, cpu and gpu. you can swap the gpu for a gigabyte and if you dont plan on SLI drop the PSU to a lower wattage. As its a red mobo i just went with a red theme on everything else. How ever you can change what you want it is just keep the guide on what exactly you should get. Also consider a good CPU cooler as you will want to OC the cpu ;).

Not to mention that the build i have put on pc part picker is a tiny bit more expensive than the parts list you have. The performance gains from the better CPU, RAM etc will be pretty massive and you will be able to play battlefield 4 at 1080p everything on ultra and possibly on dsr 1440p @ 60fps. I have an MSI 980 and it does around 80-90fps on dsr 1527p depending on the map type. it does 130 odd fps on 1080p.

the mobo and cpu you chose are not the best, the cpu will bottleneck the gpu and is not unlocked meaning you cant overclock it. Also the mobo is MICRO-ATX and not of the best quality and would look strange in that case personally, you want an ATX size ideally. The i5 4690k is a very good cpu especially for gaming and will do you perfectly.

I think you can drop the
"pro" ram, and instead get a z97 chipset mobo, which won't need a bios update

I chose the "pro" because it was actually one of the better looking and cheaper RAM modules. Alot of the other cheaper RAM looks like crap and the difference between the two is a few dollars. and i thought i chose the z97, both boards were next to each other at the same price so picked the wrong one which i have sinced changed.

I really love GSkill ram, it looks better IRL than the pictures
