**will the windows 64bit edition make a big difference with the use of 64bit and does anyone know if this psu is good?

I wouldnt reccomend using 64Bit XP. Theres very little drivers out for 64Bit. Wait untill Vista comes out for 64Bit, XP Pro 32bit is OK for now.

Regardless, I'd consider non-LG drives for longevity and performance :)

my other choices for the dvd-rom are sony or liteon, or what i have now: LG. Which would be the better choice?
I'll save money and just overclock this cpu to 2.5ghz.

its ok i'll just stick to this mobo i put lots of research into this stuff lol
Your research should tell you that the A8NSLI DLX has a well known issue of the NB fan failing resulting in a (potentially, at the least) fatality in the motherboard. This is the reason the A8NSLI Premium was introduced with the passive cooler to avoid this issue :)

is that the only difference between the deluxe and premium? I already know about the fan problem and if i get a problem i'l just get them to send me a new fan, i heard the deluxe is more overclocker friendly

The premium is much more likely to be overclocking friendly as for all the differences (and there are some), see the relative websites.
