Gaming crashing problems with my recently built PC

Hey guys,
so I've recently built my own gaming computer. It was running fine for the first day or so, then i began to experience crashes when i tried to play games. For example when i started up natural selection 2 when i hit play it would crash to a black screen, id have to reset. i contacted gpu provider and installed new drivers. This partially fixed the problem.

The real problem now is that when i play certain games for certain amounts of time my computer black screens, and i have to reset. For example, when playing skyrim on ultra settings, after about 20 minutes or when a large load needs to take place, like entering a large section of map, it freezes, black screens and i reset again. This problem is near unbearable as im constantly resetting and crashing, losing all my saves and such.

Any help or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Max

Btw my basic specs are:
Core i5 4670k
Geforce GTX 770 2GB
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600mhz Ram
600W corsair PSU
MSI z87 g43 motherboard
1TB western Black Hard drive
128GB samsung SSD

Thanks again!

Try a different video card. Have a feeling its the card.

This is not the problem, or at least im doubtful. i would guess drivers, temperature or psu. However ive extensively looked into these possibilities and i have seen no cause for my problem.

But im fairly sure it is a problem with the GPU, but replacing will not help.

thanks for reply anyhow

I would still recommend taking out the gpu and trying to use the integrated graphics to see if that works.

This is a good idea. If you're still getting problems without the graphics card installed, then you know it's not the graphics card which is to blame.
