I am looking to buy a gaming laptop for somewhere in the region of £800, and having looked for some time I am veering towards a XMG advanced model by schenker

However for my budget I am unsure of the best way to configure it, and which model to get. Any help / Advice would be much appreciated!

Gaming laptop? I wouldn't necessarily game on a laptop. All depending what you are playing i guess. Reason being is the battery. But i guess if i was to choose:
1)A gaming laptop it would have to have a quad core processor. Could get away with a dual core, but the quad should run cooler while playing games and some games (crysis 3) runs better on a quad.
2)Would need a dedicated graphics card in it. High resolution screen.
3)Some sort of sound card would be nice.
4)High drive space isn't a nessesity but would be nice. anything around 750GB or higher.

So judging by the website you left, you are from the UK. If you list the type of game you would like, and prefer what i listed, along with anything added to it, when i get home tonight I'll shop around for ya.

Think about Lenovo Y580, it's powerful and it's in your budget range. Keep an ete on Lenovo site, maybe you can get one on sale
