Gaming laptops recommendations

The upgradeable videocard feature is not really worth it it will cost a lot to upgrade the videocards I would just get a good dell, hp, or acer laptop with a really good videocard and when you need a new videocard just get a new laptop cause by then the wholse system will probably be outdated by then.

i dont know an exact model, but the HP dv6500 (15") and the dv9500 (17" and better for gaming) are sure bets. heres a link to the home page
i have an alienware m9700, the base model, and it blows through every game i have thrown at it. I had it shipped with Windows MCE though b/c vista really isnt up to snuff yet. The 2gb option i think is 270 more, but its prolly cheaper to buy the mem you want online.
I dont think it has upgradeable videocards, but there really is no point to that, besdies if you wanna worry about the future, this notebook can have a SLI config, with two 7900's

Asus makes the G1-S which is just below 2000. Its a 15.4 inch screen size so its portable but you get a very nice video card in the 8600M (I think that is what it is, its an 8600..I just don't remember the letters). I have the older model with the 7700 and I am perfectly happy with it. But if you want to go all out and spend your 2500, go with an alienware, or dell. Perhaps a Voodoo?
