Gaming Monitor :S ?!?!

OK, So I am building my first computer and need help choosing a monitor. The Monitor is primarily for gaming but also for general web browsing and creating documents. It should be 24" and around $250, any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what Salvage has but I have an Asus VK278Q it's 27" and I love it. Superb quality in games, videos and just browsing the net.

I have 2 eMachines 21.5" monitors. I got one for $90 on a Black Friday special. Great monitors for the price but when I build again I am going to get different ones.

I bought my second one here. I would still recommend the ASUS one that I linked you earlier or the AOC ones that kennebell347 has.

I recommend a 1920x1200 monitor but man they're freakin expensive.

Try ebay, a guy on a video I saw was dual screening with 2 24" monitors he got at 120 each.
