Gaming on a laptop

Hi everyone.
i have an hp envy 15 1060 ea:
intel core i7 720qm 1.6 ghz
320 Gig hard drive 7200 rpm
4 Gig RAM 1333 hz
Ati Mobility hd 4830
screen resolutio 1366 x 768

So i have fired up a few games;
mass effect two, at maxed out settings getting between 50 and 60 fps
Just cause two mostly high settings 8x antialiesing and 12x filtering at 800x600 getting 30fps
and left for dead 2 maxed out getting 47 to 60 fps

i was wondering how do i get better performance gaming wise. would adding more RAM make much difference as right now only two of the four ports are being used?

Also if i was to get a ati 5830 graphics card would there be much of an improvement in gaming and where could i get this card?

Also if anyone can think of any more ways of improving the gaming performance then i would be really apreciative.

Thanks ;)

Are you playing them from disk or HDD. Due the the Envy's lack of optical drive on board could be to blame if you're playing over a USB DVD drive

You're performance isn't too bad considering the settings are at max. If you turn of AA or decrease some of the detail you'll probably get better performance. I think the video card is performing as can be expected. More RAM won't necessarily help. I haven't seen the specifications from any of the newer games, but do any recommend more than 4GB?

i havent seen any above 1gb RAM yet but i was curious as since there are four RAM ports but two are unfilled then if i add more RAM so that all four pourts have a ram card then that should split the load across all the cards and half the access time. Not sure if i am right but was wondering if it would be worth a try. also i was thinking about replacing the grahics card with a hd 5830. i was wondering if anyone knows where to get a new laptop graphics card from and if i am likely to see a large improvement in gaming performance?
