i wish to play games like WoW, Skyrim, AC revelations, TF2, D3 etc. on medium/high settings
here are the specs

Processor: AMD AM3 Phenom II x6 1100 (3.3GHz)
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD6870 1GB
Hard Disk Drive: 1.5TB Serial ATA-III
Memory: 12GB DDR3-1333
Optical Drive: 24X DL DVD+/-RW Drive
PSU: 700W PSU
Window 7 Home Premium
 
Are you building this? What's the make and model of your power supply?

You could cut back on the CPU because those games you listed will not use more than 4 cores. Look at the 960t or 955. You could then take that money and put it towards a 560ti or 6950.

You don't need more than 4-8GB of RAM. Are there 3 sticks of RAM? That's triple channel, which would cause issues with your RAM speed since your motherboard only supports dual channel memory.

I am buying this pre-assembled by the way, is it good for a 500 dollar computer? will it run the games?
 
it is good for $500, but I would be wary of the PSU. make sure it is a quality band like corsair, seasonic, XFX or such. Lesser quality units stand a chance of harming your system.
