Gaming PC

Thank you so much :)

Yeah I have Windows 7 to install on it already and a keyboard, mouse & screen.

This is what I came up with:

Motherboard: http://www.ebuyer.com/267506-gigaby...-channel-audio-atx-motherboard-ga-z68a-d3h-b3

RAM: http://www.ebuyer.com/264750-g-skil...mory-kit-cl9-9-9-9-24-1-5v-f3-12800cl9d-8gbxl

CPU: http://www.ebuyer.com/251596-intel-...b-cache-retail-boxed-processor-bx80623i52500k

PSU: http://www.ebuyer.com/191824-xfx-750w-black-edition-modular-psu-13-5cm-fan-11x-sata-4x-p1-750b-ukb9

CASE: http://www.ebuyer.com/143854-antec-300-three-hundred-case-0761345-08300-3

Graphics: £342.57 - Not sure what would be best to get for that price. Need a little help on that one. I was thinking a GTX 580?

Thanks again.

It all looks good to me. I have a 2500K and the same RipJawsX RAM as you want and they work well together. I would recommend buying an aftermarket CPU cooler and then overclocking your 2500K too. I've got 4.0GHz on mine with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 and temperatures are below 40C on idle. I did have 4.5GHz but it started to get a bit hot when the CPU usage went up.

Graphics card wise, the GTX 580 is a very solid choice, but I reckon you can save £100 and probably get away with a GTX 570. You can see the performance difference here http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/306?vs=305. Either way, they're both great cards and more than capable of playing games at high on the higher resolutions, but the GTX 580 with the extra RAM has the advantage over the 570 for the *really* high resolutions. What resolution are you planning on playing on?

Thanks! I'm planning on running it at 1920x1080

a GTX 570 will do you good at 1920x1080, so really no reason to get the 580 over the 570 at that resolution.
