Hello all, my friend has recently told me he is willing to sell me his old iMac from 2006. I believe it is a core duo, but it might also be a core 2.0 duo. Either way I will be upgrading the processor, graphics card, and adding ram. I'm going to be running this computer for gaming (mainly league of legends.) and I am also going to be buying high quality gaming equipment (razer). The friend selling it to me said it is a very reliable computer and never crashes, which is my main reason for buying it. So, any suggestions for new hardware? Also, with upgrades, could this Mac run as a good gaming computer that can keep up with other PCs?

But as stated, by the time you have bought all of the upgrades you've essentially already just bought another PC, so you might as well just use new components from the start.
