Gaming ram questions

I'm doing some upgrades to my PC and I would like some advice with what ram would work well with my build. I'll be using the PC for gaming.
MOBO:GA-990FX-DU3
CPU:FX-8120 4.2GHz
GPU:Iceq X 7870
PSU: corsair cx600

8GB or 16GB?

With 2133, you will need to set it manually in the bios.
