I dont think you can run 4gb on a triple channel motherboard. I'm not the best at this so wait for more experienced members to answer.

You can run dual channel, but you're paying extra for the X58 triple channel board anyway, might as well use it to its potential, I'm not sure what the DHX+ is though. I'd get this or similar,
