Gateway Removable Drive Bay?

I have a Gateway GT5662 computer. It has a removable drive bay, but I can't seem to get any information about it. The only way I found out about the drive at all was through a chat session with Gateway sales. Not sure I want to buy straight from Gateway especially through a chat session.

What is this drive bay? How does it work? What kind of drive can I put into it? Where can I find a selection of drives to choose from?

Huh, nobody else knows either. Oh well, guess I don't need it.

All they are is a USB 1.1 hard drive. Look in the back of the removable slot and there is a usb connection. The hard drives themselves are very expensive and hard to find. Heres the cheapest i found and its still very expensive.

yeah just for getting things in/out of the case and making more space for working on it. just a ''feature'' of the case.
