Gateway T-1628 Pics

Does anyone have any:
A-Comments on the system (gateway T-1628) or....
B-Pictures of the lid of the system?
The reason I ask for the pic is that they are impossible(!) to find online. They show every single angle except the lid. I hope to get the sys before Sunday 6/29, because the price will go up 100 bux. Right now at BestBuy they are selling it for $610 with Wireless mouse, sleeve and cooling fan base. Does this sound ok, or should I keep looking? Thanks,

I happened to buy one from bestbuy the week prior to you posting (about two weeks ago). I haven't really had a chance to test it out since I bought while on vacation. However I do like it so far. My last Laptop was an Acer Travelmate 8104 and the T-1628 is better than it was. The part I do not like is that it definitely gets warmer than the TM8104 did.

I actually found this forum seeking information dropping the Vista down to XP to get a little more performance out of this cheap gem! If this interests you check this link:

I checked newegg, the computers under or around $600 looked very similar. This one looks better with the extra ram and large hard drive.

Aww well im more of a desktop guy so for the performance:cost a desktop is better.
