Hey guys so I have a computer I am building and was wondering would have two Ge8600 GT cards with 1 GB memory running SLI or just having one GE8800 GT or GTS card? Also if I don't get a SLI configuration then I can technically get away from having to buy a higher wattage power supply because of not having to use SLI also this would save some money on the motherboard also because the non SLI mother board is cheaper. Please help. Thank you.

Get one 8800GT. The GTS imo isn't worth the bit more it costs as theres no real improvement in it and nothing noticeable.

So if I go with the single card what power supply should I get how much would 420 watts be enough also which mother board I am looking at the Asus 560, 570, 590 or 590 Crosshair. I would think with a single card I could just get the lower of these cards don't you think?

My question about what the motherboard? I am just saying if I go with just one video card then shouldn't I be able to get a motherboard that is good but doesn't have sli compatability?

I would NOT reccomend that Ultra power supply. The OCZ is a lot better quality. Also the P35-DS3L is a great motherboard for a low price. Search it up on Newegg, you won't be dissapointed.
