Geforce 256mb 5200 FX Video Card?

Can you be more exact on your price range I seen geforce fx 5200 very cheap and way over priced so it hard to tell what you mean by the same price of a fx 5200.

The geforce fx 5200 is not a good card if you into gamming. If you dont plan on gamming it will do the job fine.

Yeah but running just fine doing what? Naturally we all know the amount of video memory isnt as muchof a bottleneck as its hyped to be

Hello,

Gotta say, the specs for the 5200 aren't excitingly pleasing. However it is an entry card into gaming for the mainstream user, so you'll just survive playing games with it if you can handle sacrificing some settings.

I currently have an FX5700LE 256MB card, and although it sits at about mid level in the performance range, I still need to sacrifice some settings. However, it usually means me using 800 x 600 instead, something I don't mind sacrificing, because it means my frame rates are good, and quality settings can be set high, with no lag.

Although i'm currently comfortable, I would still have preferred to save up a little longer to purchase a better gfx card, to the end of my teather. My advice- do just that.

Ah...I guess my specs wud help in analysing performance:

- Windows XP
- 120GB HDD
- 256MB DDR RAM
- Inno3D GeForce 5700LE 256M AGP
- ASUSTeK A7N8X-LX

...keeps me happy :)

The 5700LE honestly should be classed as entry level since it is drastically different from the 5700 which is a midlevel card:
5700LE = 250/200
5700 = 425/275
^^ and earthshattering difference for clock-dependent cards

Of course, for the price of the 5700LE (usually damn near on par with 5200s) you cant complain at all :D
