i have a XFX Geforce 5200 FX 128MB and i disable my on board video and put the card in and it will start up but nothing comes up on the screen why?
 
Did you disable it on the BIOS menu, or just through control panel? You most likely just need to go to BIOS and set your primary graphics adapter to PCI or AGP (whatever your card is) then it should work. I did the same thing about a week and a half ago for the first time.
