geforce 6200 prob

I've the foll config
BIOS: Award Medallion BIOS v6.0
Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.3GHz
Memory: 256MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 AGP
Samsung SyncMaster 753 s 17" monitor
ASUS A7N66-VMSE/WOL-UAYZ motherboard with on board NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio

I had no probs until i took geforce, then i installed the driver package that came with the card, Now my display does not fill the screen , the display on either side are black for an inch. the rest of display are fine. tried everything i could think of , changed the resolution and refresh rate, at 75 hz and 1024*768, it is better but still iam losing nearly an inch of my display.
then i tried to download the latest drivers, installed nvidia driver93..but video becomes stuck and system hangs wen i play any video, all those video are playing fine wen i installed the driver that came with the card.

well if it was working fine with the defualt drivers that came along with the card, then go into your hardware device manager, and uninstall your video drivers. Then use the same cd that came with the card, and reinstall the old drivers ya had.

Thats a quick fix. Otherwise, get a new motherbaord and proccessor.
