The Tech Report - Sub-$50 GeForce 8 coming in three weeks

The only difference between 8400GS and 8500GT is that 8400GS has 64-bit interface, instead of 128-bit. All the other spec is exactly the same.

The card will be released on June 19, and it will be priced at $45 only. In my opinion this would be the best performance/price for people who are not heavy-gamers

Wow, I agree this is a great buy for someone who has a very small graphics budget. Looks like ATi is going to need a killer plan to win the "real fight" this time.

This wouldnt be a gamer card (obviously), but it would be a good card for an HTPC.

Check out the specs... it's not a great card. The only advantage is that it's a cheap DX10 card, you could get a better 7000 series gaming card for the same price if you don't need DX10.

This video card will replace 7300GS, and there is no doubt that will beat 7300GS

I think it will be as good as 7300GT

I dunno. But i don't think there is any question on whether it will sell or not. It carries the 8 series name and is super cheap..
