Geforce 8400m GS

I have this Card in my laptop, its a PCI-E 16x. Its specs are DirectX 10, all the update GL and 3d. It has 256mb, and 1gb turbocache. Now i had an 8400gs 256mb no turbocache but same specs for my desktop. The one for my desktop worked flawlessly and ran everything on full like WoW and kayne and lynch. but this laptop one works shitty, and i tried all different settings and configerations. am i missing something?

the other hardware on your laptop might be less powerful than what you have on your desktop especially the CPU.
