i have a 8600gts superclocked edition, it runs crysis on almost all high settings at a playable rate, if u turn down textures which i cant even tell the difference it runs a lot better, anti-aliasing isnt enabled on the beta though i have a feeling it would really slow down this card on that game, but the beta isnt even optimized so who knows wat to expect, to be quite frank i was surprised by the performance of this card.
 
The 8600GTS IS a good card. It's great for people who dont want to drop the cash on an 8800, and still offers good performance on the new games. I'm happy to see that it can handle Crysis on high settings:D
 
Yup. It IS an good card, and even better in Vista than in any other O/S. It was designed for Vista, and will stay like that.
