GeForce 8800 GT or GTS?

I'm soon to build a new system and will use an SLI setup. what would benafit me more for a longer amount of time before having to upgrade? Should i go for the 8800 GT 512MB or the 8800 GTS 512? im a little lost in all this Dx 10 and Dx10.1 mumbo jumbo. Will have an Intel E8400 at 3.0Ghz, 4Gigs ddr2 and windows vista 64 bit. just trying to get the best bang for my money.
 
Well the GT is the bang for the buck performance. But the GTS do hold some advantages against it.

I would just recommend to wait on the 9 series in March.
