Geforce FX5500

Was wondering how good this card is? I am going to put it in my E4300 (I have an tight budget) But if someone could recommend me a better/cheaper card I will switch.

Intel Coppercore Cooler LGA775
Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8GHz (Oc'd)
Ultra Case (on sale at Tigerdirect)
DVD combo (cd-rw dvd -rw)
RAM: not decided

PS - I got my Geforce4 to play NFSU2 Demo at MAX settings! Just sayin'

I dont know, I pretty much thought the FX series sucked, I even went over to ATI while the FX series was out. For a 50 buck card like the FX 5500 something like a 9600 pro or XT or a 9800 pro if you can find one would be better.

oh dont get a Geforce FX5500...my mate has a 6200 and that is no good either and the FX5500 is a lower model.

get a 9600XT or 9800 pro if you only have $50

but realy they are all way way outdated cards...is there no way you could stretch to a 7600?

Well compared to my video cards only 2.8GHz and 1.43 GHz computer, an FX5500 is an god (geforce4mx440 , geforce2400)

How good is an 7100?
