Hi, I installed the driver for the Geforce Nvidia 6200 (256 memory) and when the welcome screen comes on, my mouse freezes and the whole computer stops responding. When I uninstall the driver, everything works fine again. When I go to safe mode, everything works fine. I tried the driver that came with the CD and the updated driver from Nvidia's website and still no go with the same exact result. I also tried reducing the resolution to the minimum and I still get the same result. I know it's not a hardware issue because the monitor is hooked up to the card and it works fine. Any advice?

P.S., I tried it on another system that I own and everything works perfectly fine. The hardware is compatible, at least that's what they told me when I bought it.

EDIT/UPDATE: So I tried another CD, a driver cd that came with my Geforce Nvidia 8400 Galaxy for my other computer and I got past the welcome screen. I saw the desktop, but when ever I click ANYTHING it will freeze up. I tried to restart the computer but it didn't even let me do that. I really don't know what's going on.

So I figured out the problem, it's the cooling. When I opened up the case and put my bedroom sized fan beside it, it worked fine, as soon as I remove it it crashes again. So I'm off to find a better heat sink, any suggestions? I don't care how much space it takes as this is my only PCI device.
