GeForce Ti4600 VS PCX GeForce 6500 256MB

I hope i'am not joking
Due to a huge budget cut i've fallen down from 6800 to 6500 .. i was checking DOOM 3 Hardware Configuration test and found that that Ti4600 is providing performance , just enough for my needs!! ... So is a 6500 ( 256mb ) better than Ti or atleast equivalent or near?
 
no i don't think u will see an improvenment if u upgrade from ti4600 to 6500.
if want to see a good improvenment u should upgrade to atleast 6600GT or 6800, and they just cost about 120$.
 
yes, i'd get the 6800gs or something like that if you need AGP.
just keep your current card and then upgrade once you have the money later.
 
lol i'am planning to buy a 6200 but i dont even have that Ti thing right now .. i have a stupid integrated intel 82845g 64mb card. The reason i compared 6200 to Ti was because of Doom 3 hardware configuration test in which there was a Ti4xxx card but not a 6200.. so i was comparing those simply to find out if 6200 can handle the heat too

this card will be with a 2.0ghz celeron and 768mb kingston ram .. i hope that works!
 
What does the GF6200 you're considering to buy cost? Cause you might get a good card from ATi or another nVidia based card for the same price.
