General Booting Question

Guys,

I am going to build a new PC with 2 of my IDE drives using converters. 1 of which has a capacity of 250gb with Windows 7 Ult Edion 32-bit. After i change the boot setting to DVD drive and install a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ult 64 bit edition, do i need to explicitely change it back to HDD or will the system know to boot from the storage device the second time i boot the machine?

Hope that's clear.

once you change it to DVD, it will come up with push a key to boot from DVD. As long as you don't push a key it will boot from the HDD.

As Wolfe said. But change it back to the HDD(explicitly) to get a faster booting time. Otherwise it waits for the keyboard interrupt to boot from the DVD.
