General info into videoCard

Hello.
I am really new in videocards, and i will like you guys to explain to me what they mean?!
for example, whats does 7500 GT means? all those codes and numbers....i really need help cause i want to buy one someday, well soon anyway.
What should i be looking for?

By the way, there's no such thing as a 7500GT

It's basically there to identify the card and its uniqueness..

What you are looking for are things like the memory it provides and speed it provides, along with many other things... I'm not too knowledgeable of all the Video Card Specs, so you will have to look into the Video 101 provided.

Important things to look at are
Memory, amount and interface
Amount of pixel pipelines
Clock speeds, core and memory
