I believe if its referencing the same memory location u have a bad location on ur memory....May have to replace that stick or RMA it..

If its at different location every time and ur in the same program each time it happens, reinstall that program...it also could be a driver problem...

U may want to get into your control panel get into Performance and Maintenance than into administrative tools than get into your event viewer. Hit application
right click on the error at the time u had the error and hit properties...it should tell you what executable program failed and what location in memory...

If u find that its the same address on one of the sticks u will have to remove one and see if u still get errors...if not replace it with the other one

Did u find out anything in ur event viewer.. was it the same program or what?

It turns out there are like two programs that give this type of fault... one program RARELY does it, and the other is the printer, but that only happens when I shut done a useless process, so I guess it's not a huge deal, as everything still works. It's more of a minor annoyance.

This is happening again and now more frequently... it's not always the same address, nor is it the same program every time... I'd hate to think that I'd have to reinstall every program on my computer.

What kind of driver would cause this type of problem??
