General Question About Programs

Hi, Not sure if I'm posting this in the right area but... Just a general question about programs. How can a program be verified to be correct but still be worthless?

Can you further your explanation, i am not really sure what you mean by verified but still worthless ?

Do you mean the program itself or the results given by a program like benchmark scores etc.
